In February 2022, I met Tom, an ex-policeman and ex-amateur boxer who runs a boxing club in his backyard in rural Co. Westmeath, Ireland. With his permission I visited the club on my next visit to Ireland in May. Both the welcome and the adrenaline were contagious. I have been visiting and taking photos of the young boxers at the club since then. Excerpt from an ongoing project.
